hi I'm Marika Newman and today I'm going to show you some basic tips on photographing wildlife when photographing any type of wildlife it's key to have a zoom lens mainly because you want to be able to stay far enough away and so that you can zoom in and get the picture that you want before the animal runs off the next thing you need to do is look for your subject sometimes they won't be out in the open so you might just have to sit and wait once you locate your subject you'll want to get your camera set up before moving in to take the pictures the reason for setting up your shot before is so that you can move in and be taking pictures as you go you also want to move slowly and as quietly as you can I like to make sure that I take as many pictures as I can and hopefully snap that perfect picture that you set out to capture
