now many of you have been seeing some of my cool 360 degree photos and videos that I've been posting on Instagram and Facebook and you've been wondering how I've gotten that effect today I'm gonna show you how I've been achieving this effect I'll be unboxing and reviewing the insta 360 nano camera this is fabulous for the traveler who wants to capture a wider experience in a fun way or just the hobbyist who just wants to explore what they can do with the 360 degree video or photos now I got this instant 360 nano last December and I've been playing with it and testing it out trying to make it my own opening the Box you have the insta 360 Nano camera right here and it comes with a carrying pouch with which you can also use as a lens quad it comes with a charging cord micro SD card is not included so you'll have to purchase that on your own Neels don't feel like you're sharp enough and trying getting in there here is a lightning charger port right here it comes with a VR box similar to the Google VR headset which is an additional caveat for those who want to view what they recorded now this is easy to use it has a dual lens you'll notice right here one two you also have to be very aware of the thumb prints that are on your lens which you can accidentally leave behind and that'll fog up your shot too if you're not careful there are two ways to use the instant 360 nano one is a standalone right here this button which allows you to power on and power off you'll see the light right there taking a photo you will just tap this button once right there it'll blink that's how long you actually have to hold it still creating video you'll need to tap the button twice and you'll see it blinking on and off now this can be a little tricky and this is what I'm I kind of don't like about this camera although I don't see any other way they could have done this other than maybe do a switch somewhere the great thing about 360 nano is that you can view edit and upload your photos and videos directly from your phone I have an iPhone 7 and I would insert the Lightning port and the insta 369 a videos or app is supposed to come up right here and there we are so right here I can already view what Pope that's my hand right here I can view what's going on in my shot here you can do photo there's video mode right here there is a live mode where you can record – I believe twitter and twitch Oh Facebook live they now have a Facebook live you can see that plugged into my iPhone 7 we already have some of the photos that I've taken here's my sunflower series that I did you can view this while you're shooting as well as later on when you get home so it has a fisheye mode right here where it looks like a bubble a fisheye bubble and you can kind of play around with it it has got a regular VR mode where you can kind of like scroll around and see everything that's going on that's me right there and it's got a tiny planet mode and this is what a lot of you have been loving about some of my photos so look at that that's just insane it's kind of like a reverse fisheye okay so you can play around with that and if I have a tiny world shot that I'd like right here I go down and I take a snapshot of it boom and that is saved to my photo album so you know you could basically keep on like playing around with it boom snapshot snapshot and that's how it goes a lot of people like this effect some of this will also be left on your photo album but then later on you can go through and kind of like choose and play with what you want Oh scary scary the one thing that I don't really like about this is that you can see your hand right there holding it so you kind of need like a standalone of device if you want to make it look seamless or you have to find a way to crop that out and then you can play with the hoo-yeah perspectives so it's really fun to play with or some people have gotten very innovative about them and have downloaded some third-party apps to kind of make this like move and kind of like the real cool and stuff there are even people who are mounting these on their drones for great aerial shots so for instance this is something I had to purchase separate this is kind of like a stand for my insta 360 Nano or some traits of this is that it powers separately so you can't really power power it from your iPhone and this is kind of good because it draws a lot of energy to it it also needs the latest technology now I had to upgrade to an iPhone 7 own or to use this and I updated my OS to Sierra to use this as well which was kind of a big pain actually just so that I could review this and use it so that's kind of a drawback the instant 360 nano app mounts upside down is another thing that's a little herb some is that you have to go into the the bottom I haven't found a third-party yet that can hold the iPhone without accidentally hitting the record buttons which are here so this isn't really convenient for selfie sticks as it's mounted upside down most clamps will fit over the off volume buttons so you'll either have it power off on you or you'll be taking like multiple shots of something photo quality is slightly better than the video quality images can be crisp camera lens is an f2 so it takes in a lot of light so it's great for low-light shots but on days when it's really bright filming at new and can wash up detail a lot the Khans video quality is soft in choppy or kind of pixelated and that's what I don't like even when uh play the uploaded at the highest bitrate the quality is still strained so in the end the good is really good the bad is like a they both kind of bounce off each other so it's really up to you if it's a deal-breaker or not overall the 316 I know is fun to play with it's easy to love it's perfect for the part Hobby techie and selfie lover I'll be posting videos 360 videos soon and you can let me know what you think but I'll post some videos to show you guys the quality of it and see what you can do with it but so far it's been fun and hope you enjoyed this video if you have any questions leave them down in the comments section below also I'll be having a written guide posted in a link in my description box who is that that is that's my hand okay that's a weird you enjoyed this video if you did give me a thumbs up or like subscribe to my channel if you haven't subscribed yet
