how's it going everybody today I'm gonna be talking to you about 10 accessories that every photographer should have and before we start this video I'm gonna I'm saying that you should have this I'm not saying that you need this and I'm not saying these are the only things that you should have but I'm saying you should have these things at least the first thing that we're gonna start off with is the camera bag what isn't that pretty obvious no it's not because I didn't have a camera bag until I don't even know and each camera bag that you own is gonna serve as a different purpose I own three camera bags I have the satchel for a running gun I have my throwaway bag that I take hiking and I have my travel bag which has become my primary one since it's big and expensive and it's expensive and it honestly it looks it looks really cool I might do a review on that back fact let me know if you guys want to see that oh did I mention that it's expensive so the next thing that I have on this list is extra batteries you do not want to be in a situation where you have one battery I know that some batteries are pretty expensive for some cameras but it's it's worth it a little bit of money that you spend is gonna save you a ton of stress in the future and if you have at least two batteries then you could be charging one while you're using one or going off of having two batteries I also recommend having a battery grip so a battery grip is the attachment on the bottom of a camera and it lets you hold two batteries not only does it allow you to hold two batteries but now when you're shooting horizontally you have another shutter button not up there so you're not look at all wonky over here yeah so it's pretty cool every camera that I've had I've gotten a battery grip on and I have loved it your camera's charged longer it looks cooler and that you got this little little new little new attachment to it the cleaning kit please buy a cleaning kit a cleaning kits like it's like ten bucks you could get away with just having cloths but these little cleaning kits that are sold on Amazon come in this like nice little packaging and you get like a little blower you get a little a little pen that has like some some little cleaning chemical in it pretty cool I like that one a lot and then at a cloth and yeah link in the description everything that I'm saying right now is gonna be linked in the description so this is another one that's gonna seem kind of obvious but I didn't have this until I don't know I was until I was like a year into photography so this is a memory card holder once again a super cheap accessory that you get on Amazon and you get them in all sorts of different shapes and sizes and stuff I personally like this one because it's super small super lightweight and it was the cheapest one on Amazon so I'm up with this one it's pretty much it's just a little tiny storage suitcase for all your memory cards and also buy more than one memory card because when you're out on a shoot and that card might be full and you can't format it you're gonna want to grab another card and just easily be able to do that so I recommend having at least two cards a tripod with a ball head why a ball head why would I need a ball head well a ball head is gonna allow you to tilt your camera sideways so that you can get that horizontal shot and really get literally everything from head to toe if you've got a wide-angle lens the ball head is gonna help you with Astro photos with anything that has they're trying to shoot with a low shutter such as water you want to get that little wispy look to it I've been rocking the the Joby little gorilla dildo pod thing and I'm actually really digging it I was kind of against it at first but I actually really really have been enjoying it it's a really sturdy piece of equipment I wouldn't cheap out and get the other ones because I broke my camera using one of the cheap ones yeah I completely migrated from using a actual standing tripod for photos and just I've been using the the tiny little this little ball head guy it is a great chance that you're using Adobe Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw and something that to speed up your workflow would be a preset pack I do sell preset packs so this is a promotion but also there are other people that self preset packages but mine's really good and it's really cheap so you should buy it but I'm not to be biased at all my preset package includes about 20 presets and whenever I go out on a shoot I will just slap on the presets and I can get my photos to my clients within that day these like honestly it's that easy and that quick and it's a it's a fast turnaround it's less stress on you and I think it's totally worth that little bit of money speaking of workflow get yourself a portable hard drive if you don't have one this is photography 101 and you need to get a portable hard drive get at least 500 gigabytes if not a terabyte I know they're making them cheap right now so for you adventurous folk out there who want to travel around with their hard drive I would recommend getting a LaCie hard drive they're rugged they're reliable they're inexpensive and you can get about I think it's 2 terabytes for 150 bucks and it looks cool too let's be real this is a cool looking hard drive and last but not least a collar a charger yes a car charger this thing is a lifesaver if you're on your way to a shoot and you're driving and you're like oh crap I didn't charge my batteries well you're in luck cuz plug this baby into your cigarette lighter and you're good to go the one that I have has two wall outlets and two USB so you can charge your drone your camera and whatever whatever else you want to charge foot so this is gonna serve as just a failsafe a backup and something that's just not gonna stress you out in the future I have been on the road to a shoot and had to stop and buy a $70 battery before when I just needed to charge it thank you guys so much for watching I hope that you enjoyed this episode let me know what you guys think about this video in the comments don't forget to like this video comment
